Limited Lifetime Warranty
If a piece fails because of how it was made, we replace it. No receipt hunting, no argument.
This is a limited warranty. It covers manufacturing defects only, for as long as you own the piece, and it is offered by Conture to the original purchaser.
What's covered — for as long as you own the piece
- Stone loss caused by a faulty setting
- Clasp failure under normal wear
- Chain or link breakage under normal wear
- Structural defects in the setting or metalwork
What's not covered
- Plating wear. Every plated finish wears with time and contact — that's the nature of plated jewelry, not a defect. Our aftercare guide tells you how to make it last as long as possible.
- Loss, theft, or damage from an accident
- Damage from chlorine, harsh chemicals, or extreme force
- Normal surface scratches from everyday wear
- Damage from a repair or resize done by someone else
- Pieces bought secondhand or from anyone other than Conture
What we do about it
We replace the piece with the same item. If that item is no longer available, we replace it with a comparable piece of equal or greater value, or refund the purchase price — your choice. We do not offer cash back beyond the original purchase price, and we do not cover labor, incidental or consequential damages except where the law requires it.
How to claim
Email charlesscalesmoney@gmail.com with your order number and a photo of the issue. We respond within one business day. Within the first 30 days after delivery we cover return shipping; after that, you cover shipping to us and we cover shipping back.
Why we exclude plating
Because we'd rather tell you the truth than write a promise we can't keep. A plated finish is a surface layer over a base metal. Worn daily, exposed to sweat, water, perfume, and friction, it will eventually thin — on our pieces and on every other plated piece you own, at any price. What we can stand behind is that the piece was built correctly. That part is covered for as long as you own it.
Your legal rights
This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, or limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, so the limitations above may not apply to you.
