About moissanite
What is moissanite?
A lab-created gemstone, originally discovered in a meteorite crater. It scores 9.25 on the Mohs hardness scale — second only to diamond at 10. It isn't glass, it isn't CZ, and it isn't a coating. It's a real gemstone.
Does moissanite pass a diamond tester?
Standard handheld diamond testers measure thermal conductivity, and moissanite's is close enough to diamond that it reads as diamond on most of them. Note the honest version: modern dual-mode testers made specifically to catch moissanite will identify it. If someone is testing with equipment designed to spot moissanite, it will spot moissanite.
What's the difference between moissanite and cubic zirconia?
Different stones entirely. CZ is softer, clouds over time, and fails a thermal diamond tester. Moissanite is harder, holds its brilliance, and reads as diamond on standard testers.
What does VVS mean?
Very Very Slightly Included — a clarity grade just below flawless. At that level, inclusions are invisible to the naked eye. Your GRA certificate states the grade for your stone.
Does it sparkle like a diamond?
It throws more fire. Moissanite's refractive index is 2.65 against a diamond's 2.42, so it bends more light and produces more rainbow flash. That's physics, not marketing.
Materials
What are your pieces made of?
It varies by piece, and every product page states it. Some are 925 sterling silver, some are silver-plated brass, and our Tennis Chain is 316L stainless steel. Check the product page for the piece you're looking at — we list the actual material on each one rather than making a blanket claim.
Will it turn my skin green?
Any plated piece can, eventually. Green marks are copper reacting with the acidity in your skin, and copper is present in brass and in sterling silver alike. It's harmless and it washes off. How long that takes depends on the piece and on how you care for it — our aftercare guide covers how to delay it. Our 316L stainless steel Tennis Chain contains no copper and won't do it at all.

How do I track my order?
You'll get a tracking number by email as soon as your order ships.
Returns and warranty
What's your return policy?
30 days from delivery on unworn items in original condition. Full details on our Returns Policy page.
What's covered under the warranty?
Stone loss from a faulty setting, clasp and chain failure, and structural defects — covered for life. Plating wear is not covered, because no plated finish lasts forever. See the warranty page for the full terms.
Care
How do I look after my piece?
Off before showering, swimming, and the gym. Perfume and lotion first, jewelry after. Store it dry. Full guide on our aftercare page.
