Moissanite was first discovered in 1893 by Nobel Prize-winning scientist Henri Moissan inside a meteorite — making it one of the rarest natural minerals on Earth. Today, our stones are lab-created to that same extraordinary standard.
With a refractive index of 2.65–2.69, moissanite produces more brilliance and fire than diamond (2.42) — more sparkle than any other gemstone on Earth.
Scoring 9.25 on the Mohs hardness scale, moissanite is highly scratch-resistant and built for daily wear.
